Aim of the training session
To support real-life training of the rheumatology nurses, we would like to invite about 20 patients with active rheumatoid arthritis to take part in one of the rheumatology workshop training sessions by volunteering to have the disease activity score (DAS28) assessment performed on them. The training is designed to find out if there is a variation in DAS28 techniques being used by different nurses and to standardise techniques and empower nurses to become ambassadors for DAS28 training in their clinics. Reasonable travel expenses covered and lunch provided.
